Welcome to "The Jungle", the official unified platform for the members of Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Incorporated. By accessing or using this countdown landing page, and/or subsequently registering for and accessing the unified platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") and to comply with all current and future sorority policies, procedures, and guidelines, whether or not specifically listed herein. The First Multicultural Sorority in the Nation™ and its National Governing Council reserve the right to update this Agreement at any time.

1. Purpose of the Platform

"The Jungle" (incorporating the unified member platform formerly known as Archer) is a private, sorority-owned communication and engagement space for members of Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Incorporated. Its primary purpose is to facilitate official sorority business, networking, collaboration, and communication among undergraduate, graduate, and alumnae members in accordance with the organization's core values, mission, and the national slogan, Leadership Through Service.

2. Eligibility & Account Responsibilities

Access to the authenticated member portal is strictly restricted to verified members of Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Incorporated. Non-members are strictly prohibited from accessing or attempting to access secure member areas. Member status will be verified prior to account activation. If a member chooses to disaffiliate from the sorority, or fails to maintain active status (including the timely payment of active sister dues), platform access will be suspended. Members are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and are strictly prohibited from sharing credentials or allowing others to access the platform under their accounts. All registration details provided must be accurate and kept up to date.

As an organization that celebrates multiculturalism, we recognize and respect that a diversity of perspectives and opinions will be shared. 4. Intellectual Property & Brand Protection

All contents of this website and the platform—including but not limited to the name Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Inc., the letters ΜΣΥ, custom layouts, logos, seals, graphics, background designs, audio tracks, promotional assets, and registered trade slogans including "The First Multicultural Sorority in the Nation™" and "Leadership Through Service"—are the exclusive property of Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws. No materials may be reproduced, redistributed, or transmitted without prior written consent from the National Governing Council.

5. Content Ownership & Moderation Disclaimer

Each member is solely responsible for the content they post and all activity occurring under their account. Content shared by individual members represents their personal views and does not necessarily reflect the official stance of Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Incorporated, its National Governing Council, appointed officers, boards, or corporate partners.

The National Governing Council and its officers do not have the financial resources or staff to moderate all content at all times. It is not feasible for the national organization to mitigate all sister disagreements or conflicts. Members are expected to resolve disputes constructively. If any content is found to violate the sorority's Blue Book (Risk Management Manual) or Code of Conduct, members should submit a formal incident report. Reports must be filed through the official JotForm reporting link at https://form.jotform.com/40244071487149. Appointed Judicial Board advocates will review and investigate all formal reports.

6. Hazing & Prohibited Conduct

Any content that promotes, depicts, or references hazing—directly or indirectly—is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate removal, followed by internal judicial hearings, university-level discipline, or criminal referral. This includes posting images of prospective members during the New Membership Education (NME) process. Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Inc. is committed to an inclusive environment. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy against language, imagery, or behavior that is racist, discriminatory, or disparaging toward individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, creed, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or LGBTQAI+ status.

7. Privacy & Subpoenas

While the organization values member privacy, we comply fully with lawful subpoenas, court orders, or legal investigations. By using this platform, you acknowledge and agree that your account content, messages, and activity data may be disclosed under lawful circumstances as required by law enforcement or judicial bodies.

8. Limitation of Liability & Indemnification

This platform and countdown website are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Inc. is not liable for user-generated content, disputes between users, loss of data, reputation damage, emotional harm, or third-party actions (including university investigations) prompted by user content. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Inc., its National Governing Council, district/chapter officers, and members from any liabilities, claims, or damages arising out of your use of the platform.

9. Enforcement, Termination, & Governing Law

Violations of this Agreement will result in disciplinary actions up to and including suspension of platform access, internal judicial hearings, fines, or permanent termination of membership. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey and the national bylaws of Mu Sigma Upsilon Sorority, Inc.
